THE NEED

Now, more than ever, we find ourselves at a crossroads - a moment where the forces of fragmentation and polarisation threaten to overshadow our shared humanity. From entrenched political ideologies to cultural misunderstandings, the need for genuine connection and dialogue has never been more pressing. Without concerted efforts to bridge these divides, we risk perpetuating cycles of mistrust, fear, and isolation, further entrenching societal rifts and hindering our collective progress.

Cultural Confluence enables us to enact connections rooted in the philosophy of Cosmopraxis, allowing us to transcend the boundaries of individualism and separation, fostering a deep sense of interconnectedness with one another and the wider cosmos. Cultural Confluence is a transformative initiative that seeks to break down barriers, foster understanding, and celebrate the rich tapestry of human diversity.

 Cultural Confluence operates at the intersection of community engagement and artistic expression, harnessing the power of creativity to foster cross-cultural understanding and connection.

 The journey begins with the local community and artists coming together with local individuals from diverse backgrounds to embark on a journey of cultural archeology—a process of uncovering the hidden connections that bind us together as a global community.

CULTURAL ARCHAEOLOGY

But what exactly is cultural archaeology? It's more than just digging up historical acts or excavating our own histographies. Cultural archaeology is about delving into the depths of human history and heritage to unearth the stories, myths, and traditions that define who we are and where we come from.

 Through cultural archaeology, participants gain insight into the shared experiences, beliefs, and traditions that shape cultural identities, uncovering the threads that connect cultures around the world, revealing the richness and diversity of human expression. Together, they co-curate a series of immersive experiences that celebrate cultural diversity and promote cross-cultural dialogue.

DAWN UNVEILED

 An enchanting journey into the heart of spring, where we illuminate the shared tales of two revered Dawn Goddesses - Ēostre from the European tradition and Hušas from the Indo-Iranian realm. Separated by vast lands and differing cultures, tonight, we embark on a quest to unveil the deep interconnectedness that binds these celestial sisters. 

ANCESTRAL ECHOES: A CONVERGENCE OF SPIRITS

 Under the Senegalese sky, griot Amadou's drum beats tales, echoing across plains. In the Andean peaks, Quechua Killa hears ancestral whispers in wind. Drawn by unseen forces, paths intertwine, spirits converge. Amidst crackling flames and shimmering stars, they invoke ancestors' presence. Senegal and Andes weave tapestry of shared wisdom, eternal connection.
